Specifically speaking,it is made by using strong Polyvinyl-butyralfoils (PVB) to make three or more glass sheets bound together under high temperature and high pressure. The Intermediate materials are usually transparent materials, like layers of polycarbonate fibers. It has the appearance and the ability to transmit light of ordinary glass, providing certain protection against small arms fire.
